Jewel City 1, Rolla, ND
Jewel City 1 is a USDA Rural Development project located in Rolla, ND featuring 16 one-bedroom units for those 62 and older or disabled. AHDI purchased the property in 2021 and has been awarded $3,612,400 in HIF and HOME funds from the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency for a substantial rehabilitation. The rehab will focus on accessibility updates, new flooring, cabinets, paint, electrical and plumbing upgrades, as well as parking lot and sidewalk replacements. Construction is scheduled to begin in late summer 2022.
Velva Rental Housing
Effective May 1, 2022, AHDI began managing 32 one and two bedroom units in Velva, ND under the ownership of Velva Rental Housing. Twenty units are income restricted with rent subsidy provided by USDA Rural Development. Twelve units are market rate with no income restrictions.
